We are currently seeking a Project Manager based out of York, Pa. 




Major Job Elements

  • Manages overall project performance (scope, safety, quality, schedule, innovation, cost, and customer satisfaction), coordinating site specific project management or coaching during the initiation and planning phases.
  • At a given time could be involved in any combination of:
    • Running a major project or several smaller projects.
    • Assist in the marketing and business development activities as required.
  • Proactively identifies Project Risk and proactively manages risk throughout the project's lifecycle
  • Serves as single-point of contact, establishing, maintaining and managing customer expectations regarding the project performance
  • Reports project status and performance data as required to internal executive management and external stakeholders.
  • Ensures compliance with the Henkels & McCoy Project Management Methodology.
  • Plans, executes, monitors, controls and continuously works towards successful project closure through out its lifecycle.
  • Coaches  Associate PMs on medium size projects.
  • Manage onsite vendors and subcontractors to ensure level of performance is within scope of PMO expectations
  • Develop relationships with local vendors and subcontractors as failsafe contingencies
  • Running a major project from $500,000 to $10 million or several smaller projects.
  • Estimate and proposal development including analyzing scope documents and technical writing.


  • 5+ years of relevant (telecommunications or power industry) Project Management experience is  required.
  • BS degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related field required.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in construction industry Project Management Methodology required.
  • PMP certification preferred. 
  • Knowledge and experience of Contract Administration and Contract Management required.
  • Thorough understanding of construction industry practices, processes, and standards and their impact on project activities required.
  • Proficient in scheduling and software applications (Primavera, MS Project) desired.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills required.
