We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanic to perform repairs and maintenance of fleet vehicles, both in the shop and for occasional road service operating from our Blue Bell, Pa East Region headquarters. Our fleet includes pick-ups, job trucks, dozers, trenchers, excavators, backhoes, Aerial Buckets, Digger Derricks, Truck Cranes, directional drills, trailers, and other related construction equipment.

 

Candidates must be willing to join the local Union.

  • Routine maintenance and service of fleet vehicles, pickups, light & medium dump trucks, Aerial Equipment
  • Hydraulic and engine repairs
  • Air brake repairs
  • Chassis repairs
  • Repair of general construction equipment, air compressors, backhoes, etc.

 

Qualifications

Must have at least 3 years’ experience working as a mechanic with at least 1 year experience repairing diesel engines and hydraulic systems

  • Welding and fabrication experience is preferred but not required
  • Experience repairing air brakes; certification is preferred but not required
  • General knowledge of computers using Microsoft Word and Excel

Class A CDL license preferred
