We are currently seeking a Project Controller II - based out of York, Pa.

 

 

     

Major Job Elements

The Project Controller II is a key member of one or more Project Teams. This position involves strong administrative, financial skills and the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the project teams, customers and other internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the implementation and execution of Henkels & McCoy’s Project Management Methodology (PMM) on assigned projects.
  • Ensure compliance with customer contract terms and conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with H&M Policies, Procedures, and Administrative Guidelines.
  • Collect data required to monitor project budget and progress.
  • Assist in analyzing work progress by calculating/preparing various comparison reports.
  • Assist in monitoring progress of work per cost accounting adherence with budget.
  • Work with administrative staff to resolve payroll, revenue, equipment and payable entry issues.
  • Facilitate Payables by job and by overhead account through H&M procurement to insure each transaction is recorded to the appropriate job/overhead account and research and resolve payable transaction issues
  • Assist in preparation bid packages, including instructions, specifications, interface requirements, etc.
  • Assist in helping the current Project Controllers in Power in all aspects to keep on top of the Current workloads.
  • Must have the ability to travel overnight within east region territory.

Qualifications

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience in accounting, contract administration or project management preferred or four (4) years of construction work experience in accounting, contract administration or project management.
  • Prior job cost accounting experience required.
  • Understanding of financial tracking tools and ability to master Henkels & McCoy in-house accounting systems.
  • Ability to travel (and/or work on-site assignment) depending on the project complexity required.
  • Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office software required.
  • Work order system and Penta Knowledge a Plus.
