Henkels &McCoy is seeking a Field Engineer for its West Region Gas Operations based in San Francisco Bay area. This position will gather field data related to production activities, create customer reports and other customer deliverables and provide feedback to Project and Construction Manager with any field issues and ensures assigned subcontractor activities are performed in accordance with H&M subcontracts.



Major Job Elements

  • Gather field data related to production activities, create customer reports and other customer deliver arable, and provide feedback to Project Managers with any field issues.
  • Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule.
  • Provide technical support for construction, including participation in construction planning, coordination of construction activities, and cost / schedule management.
  • Supports the project manager in achieving financial results, project tracking, customer interface and local governmental agency compliance.
  • Responsible to complete as-builts to customer standards, this may include GPS documentation.
  • Ensures assigned subcontractors activities are performed in accordance with the Purchase Order and Contract.
  • Supports PM with permit issues and acts as a liaison between the field and the management staff.
  • Responsible for ongoing communication and timely identification of issues to the PM, and pending or actual changes to the work performed and may impact costs, schedule, contract or customer relationship.


  • BA or BS Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
  • In lieu of college degree 4 years in related Gas or Pipeline  job may be accepted.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, Project, Primavera or related scheduling software is required.
  • Utility experience is preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel and work extended hours as needed.
