We are currently seeking a CAD Operator responsible for supporting internal and external engineering plan design and drafting needs for underground Gas distribution.

Major Job Elements

  • Collaborate with internal Engineers and Designers.
  • Check completed Work Order Packages in office and in field.
  • Perform plan design and drafting.
  • Perform large format plotting, scanning, and copying.
  • Perform file and record research activities.
  • Perform field data collection activities.
  • Operate Autodesk Autocad with satisfactory level of competency.
  • Communicate effectively via phone and e-mail.
  • Travel to various work site and office locations.
  • Work in a team oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Education and/or Trade School Education.
  • Must be extremely proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD.  (This equates to at least 1+ year work experience with AutoCAD).
  • Natural Gas Design knowledge a plus.
  • All-around utility knowledge is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
  • Some knowledge of Bentley Microstation preferred.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
