We are currently seeking a Continuous Improvement/Lean Construction Analyst based out of our East Region's office in Blue Bell, PA

Major Job Elements

Position Summary

The Continous Improvement/Lean Construction Analyst is a key member of one or more project teams providing Lean Implementation support in the East Region. This position involves Lean Six Sigma tools and Methodologies (such as VSM, 5S, Waste Identification, DMAIC, DMADV, PDCA, etc.) to drive change within their assigned business lines and regions skills and the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the project team(s), customer(s) and other internal and external stakeholders. This position reports to the Regional CIQ Manager.

Primary Outcomes:

  • Facilitates lean meetings, initiatives, projects, and events to ensure proper tool usage and desired outcomes that are aligned with group/regional level strategies/objectives
  • Reviews measurement systems and data collection methods to ensure accurate and standardized reporting across the company
  • Creates Lean Construction related content for use in training, coaching, and mentoring colleagues while building a culture of continuous improvement

 

 

Position Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Lean training as required to support the goals of the region.
  • Work closely with assigned business lines and regions to identify improvement opportunities for reducing cost, improving efficiency and productivity
  • Collect and Analyze data to support business decisions
  • Deploy Process Management Systems on key processes and monitor upstream indicators and output KPIs
  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify waste and potential improvement opportunities
  • Lead Kaizen workshops to eliminate waste and optimize process flow
  • Ensure Lean projects are aligned with high level organizational objectives and goals
  • Lead, Monitor, and Report out status of all Lean projects/activities in their Pipeline for assigned business lines and regions
  • Document Lessons Learned and ensure best practices are incorporated into formal business processes/procedures
  • Travel up to 50%, mostly within region
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor Degree in Construction, Business, Civil Engineering, or related field required
  • Utility Infrastructure (UI) industry segment work experience is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the construction industry is preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma experience required, Certification at the Green Belt Level or Higher preferred
  • Work experience in construction supervision look-ahead planning preferred
