The Telecommunications Market Manager is a key member of the Telecommunications team. This position involves strong customer relationship, analytical and administrative skills and the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organizations. The Telecommunications Market Manager will report to the Director, Market Analytics & Strategy.

  • Supports the SVP, Communications with market specific activities
  • Supports HMG subsidiary business executives and directors with business development needs
  • Coordinate executive level meetings between HMG Inc. designees, with major customers
  • Assist in the development of customer meeting material
  • Maintain contact lists for nationwide customers in CRM database, and coordinate between regions on sales efforts
  • Acts as SPOC for nationwide customers with cross regional businesses
  • Responsible for maintaining HMG subsidiary information in customer procurement portals (ACAS, vSource, etc.)
  • Maintain internal user lists and mange licenses for customer portals
  • Monitor market trends and drivers to understand and interpret how these factors will affect the communications construction market; make recommendations for strategy changes. necessary to maximize market opportunities;
  • Assist the SVP of Communications with the development of BOD deliverables and provide input on market drivers
  • Provide insight on new opportunities in the market(both public and private based on market intelligence;
  • Assist the SVP, Communications in working with HMSS Marketing to communicate value propositions for the communications market:
  • Assist the SVP, Communications in the development and implementation of the Marketing Activities Plan (MAP) including tradeshow and advertising schedules
  • Assist the SVP, Communications with nationwide trade show efforts including show selection, booth location selection, level of participation and regional coordination on attendance
  • Assist regional management with the support of regional tradeshow efforts
  • Involvement in proposal support (customer qualifications, RFIs, RFPs, etc) out of HMSS Marketing, as needed;
  • Vets and distributes inbound leads from henkels.com website and email inbox
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical degree with background training in sales/marketing
  • At least 10 years of telecommunications related operations experience with 5 years’ experience in a variety of marketing and/or sales function

machines, equipment & computer skills  

  • MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM preferred

Preferred Skills

  • Must possess excellent communication (written and verbal) skills with the ability to produce highly professional proposals and presentations
